First off LIGHTS OUT officially begins and it's the first encounter between Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps against the ginormous Relic.
In true Galactus fashion, Relic releases his 'energy ticks' that proceeds to suck every Green energy in Oa.
Which sucks out the power from all the rings in Oa as well as the power batteries in Oa's vault...
... and when everything was consumed, Relic's ticks went straight for the Central Battery
The drain results in the explosion of the power battery...
Which doesn't seem so bad until Salaak reveals that the central battery was connected to Oa's core. An explosion like this will cause a chain reaction to the core...
That's how you officially start LIGHTS OUT in GREEN LANTERN.
