Toys R Us Marvel Minimates Wave Series 17 Preview

My golly look at the size of that Hulk minimate figure. And it's not even the Hulk that we know, rather it's a robotic version of the Green goliath.

Of course this will not only make me NOT want to quit, this will also make me NOT want to sell my collection.

Look at the ecclectic set on this wave:

3. Sam Alexander Nova + Alien Symbiote Venom

So for the first time, we've got a bulky character being pegged as the 'army-builder'. Impressive.

Bad Ass Ultron Minimate Fig Coming AGE OF ULTRON Minimates Box Set

OK let's all admit that AGE OF ULTRON was a huge disappointment and was just Marvel's greedy way of selling more books and releasing Angela on the 616 but they it also did create one of the most terrifying designs for the robotic villain ULTRON and now it's crossing over to the Marvel Minimates toy line.

Thank you ART ASYLUM and DIAMOND SELECT TOYS for making this figure see the light of day. It's even more impressive once you see how everything just snaps on the base figure. Check out the design sheet for this nifty figure.



Then there's also that equally badass ANGELA minimate figure which would probably make her creator Neil Gaiman very, very happy.





Oh and they also have grizzled Nick Fury (who was never de-aged because there was no Nick Fury Jr. running around).





And to round up the set, oh goody, another Iron Man/ Tony Stark figure (like we really need another one).

And if you're looking for a Wolverine figure, you should be happy to note that they will have one based on the Canuck's appearance in AOU. However, the sad part is that it will be an exclusive for Toys R Us. And it'll come with the army builder which happens to be the gold Ultron drone.

Iron Man 3 Minimates in-Package Photos

Here's a look at the two 'mystery' figures for wave 49 of DST's Marvel Minimates line based on Iron Man 3. These two figures are 'Suit Up' Tony Stark with incomplete armor and an Extremis powered soldier.

DST Unveils The Wolverine Marvel Select Figure

We saw the teaser for the Marvel Select "The Wolverine" figure and now Marvel's official website has finally revealed the actual action figure.

Diamond Select Toys Teases Marvel Select Wolverine 2 Figure

The Wolverine is coming out soon and Diamond Select Toys aka DST has teased us with a look at the upcoming Marvel Select "The Wolverine" action figure.

Looks pretty awesome. Cannot wait for this to be released. Also I hope that this new figure shares a more uncanny resemblance to actor Hugh Jackman who will reprise his role as Logan/ Wolverine for the James Mangold directed film "The Wolverine" from 20th Century Fox.

Disney Minimates Peter Pan Preview

Wow! Diamond Select Toys just released new photos for the first ever Disney Minimates featuring the characters from Peter Pan. 

These new figures will coincide will the release of Peter Pan on Blu-Ray. There's a total of three sets here. The first and primary set features: 

• Peter Pan with miniature Tinkerbell

Toyfair 2013 Tomb Raider Minimates Coming Soon

Here's another great news for minimates collectors - toyfair 2013 proves that we will soon be seeing a Tomb Raider minimates wave based on the new Tomb Raider prequel game.

The new Tomb Raider minimates will sport two different Lara Croft figures as well as some various baddie figs.

Complete Look at Marvel Minimates Wave 48 Featuring the Fantastic Four

Compiled everything about the upcoming Fantastic Four centric Marvel minimates (wave 48) from DST's Facebook page...

This new wave will be hitting stores January 2013. I am confused however which is the variant figure here as I'm seeing a mullet-sporting Invisible Woman and at the same time the FF's classic villain Puppet Master together with daughter Alicia Masters.

Some Minimates Hauls for December - Rachel Grey, 80s Rogue and Sentinel

On a whim, I took some photos of the new Marvel Minimates that I acquired in the past few weeks.

Thanks to Kevin for the two figures (Rachel Grey aka Marvel Girl and Sentinel army builder.) And another big shout out to Minimates master Oneng who sold me the 80s Rogue. I'm still looking forward to finding the 80s Colossus minimate. It's a rather cool thing to look at these "flying" minis with a sky blue background. I'm scratching my head why I didn't do this before.

The Walking Dead Minimates Amazon.Com Exclusive Set

Amazon.com is jumping on "The Walking Dead" bandwagon with the release of new images for an upcoming exclusive set featuring two zombies, Michonne and Rick Grimes.

Diamond Select Toys brings us more Walking Dead Minimates. The first series of Walking Dead Minimates has been selling out in stores on both sides of the Atlantic, leading to a worldwide zombie shortage! In order to alleviate this shortage, Diamond Select Toys and Amazon.com have teamed up to offer an exclusive four-pack of Minimates, taken straight from the hit comic book series by Robert Kirkman. Art Asylum Announces Thundercats Minimates for SDCC

What can I say, it seems like this particular toyline is picking up a lot of steam not to mention a lot of hot properties such as the Thundercats.

SDCC 2012 Exclusive Alpha Flight Minimates

I was wrong. The other Marvel minimates set that will be sold exclusively for SDCC 2012 wasn't the Avengers side of the AvX set but is Canada's finest heroes - Alpha Flight.

The set will feature the following characters:

• Northstar
• Puck
• Marina

DST To Release 7 Inch The Expendables 2 Action Figures

DST and Art Asylum has revealed that they will be coming out with new 7-inch figures for the characters from the movie "The Expendables".

The new figures will feature two versions of Stallone's Barney Ross; one wearing his classic beret and the other without the beret. 

Also coming on November 2012 are figures featuring Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews)

Choose Your Favorite AvX Characters for AvX Minimates Boxset

This year, Diamond Select Toys is all about letting the fans choose. With the Marvel Minimates Series 50 Fan Poll in its final week at Marvel.com, yet another poll has launched over at Toysrus.com!
