Spoiler Heavy Iron Man 3 Review

The long wait is finally over as the third installment of the massively successful Iron Man film franchise from Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios has finally been released on our shores and boy does it deliver. Yes, Iron Man 3 is officially in our shores.

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black who takes over the reigns from Jon Favreau who, on the other hand becomes the film's executive producer and reprises his role as Happy Hogan. The film still stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Don Cheadle as Col. Jim Rhodes aka War Machine. 

New additions to the cast include Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian, Rebecca Hall as Maya Hansen and Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin. 

Now for the review. Oh and there might be a couple of spoilers here and there so be wary.

A Bloodied Tony Stark in a New Iron Man 3 Promotional Material

Here's a new image for Iron Man 3 featuring a beaten and bloodied Tony Stark looking really sad and dejected.

I'm actually down with this new tonal shift. I mean we did see Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark get badly beaten in the past Iron Man movies but this new image ups the ante to the next level. Also it's interesting to note that he's wearing the new Extremis armor when he goes for the feels.

DST Teasing us with Iron Man 3 Minimates

Was that Bethany Cabe in Iron Man # 2?

Bethany Cabe's thunder was stolen by the relationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts but she was pretty helpful during Matt Fraction's last run so the last page for Iron Man # 2 was kind of a surprise.

So anyway in this issue Stark goes and deal with the people who have been keeping this new version of the Extremis virus.

NEW IRON MAN 3 IMAGES, TEASER POSTER AND OFFICIAL TRAILER

Promotion for Iron Man 3 is going full overdrive with the release of a new teaser poster depicting billionaire, philanthropist playboy Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) about to wear his latest armor in front of the older armors.

News on the grapevine is that this new armor isn't the Mark VIII as I've previously mentioned. Rumor has it that the Extremis armor is actually armor # 47 (or 48 depending on your news source). This means between "The Avengers" and "Iron Man 3" Stark has created a lot more armors.

New Iron Man 3 Concept Art Sheds More Light on Extremis

Marvel Studios has debuted the first conceptual art from the highly anticipated film “Iron Man 3,” directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr.
