Meet Gambit's Cats and a New Member in All New X-Factor # 3

Here are a couple of spoiler details for ALL NEW X-FACTOR # 3 by Peter David and Carmine Di Giandomenico.

I liked this issue in general. It's uppity happy and then sad and it's nice that we get to see the next member for the team once again.

Oh and totally loved the scene with Gambit and his cats.

Awww yiss they are so cute.

Later in the issue, Serval realizes that they've been hacked and deploys their new team to track down the hacker. Turns out it's Nil from Gambit's Guild of Thieves. Upon confronting the hacker, they are led to the source of the technomancer's newfound power

Yes, apparently after the dissolution of Utopia and formation of the New Uncanny team, Danger's been AWOL. Turns out she's been held captive.

Much like how she lashed out when she was unleashed in Astonishing X-Men, Danger once again goes berserk.

All New X-Factor is already out guys and gals. Now bring out Douglock!

Steampunk X-Men by Arturo Aguirre

What if the X-Men were given new life in a steampunk era. Here's what they'd look like as rendered by Arturo Aguirre.

Am I the only one who thinks Steampunk Gambit looks fucking awesome for the X-Dudes. Its like the guy stepped out of the photo session for The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club" and never returned.

As for the X-Ladies, I'm giving my vote to Psylocke (although Rogue comes in at close second)...

Aguirre's Cable, for all thoughts, definitely fits the mold of what STEAMPUNK really is...

Astonishing X-Men # 48 Spoilers - Warbird Rocks!

Some minor spoilers for Astonishing X-Men # 48 from Marvel Comics with the new creative team of Marjorie Liu and Mike Perkins.

The new book sees the formation of a new team which consists of members who are skirting the throes of being an X-Man once again (such as Northstar and Cecilia Reyes) as well as some regulars who left Utopia together with Wolverine.

One surprising addition to this team is Warbird...

Captain America vs Gambit in AvX Vs # 2 Preview

Captain America and Gambit tangle in the interior covers for Avengers vs X-Men Vs or more commonly known as "AvX Vs".

 

These interior pages are actually done by Civil War artist Steve McNiven. 

Interestingly enough there's a lot of additional details regarding this battle. One of the biggest questions I have right now is why the heck did Gambit ambush Captain America.

Oh well, I guess we have to wait for the release of AvX and subsequently AvX Vs. which will be done by Marvel's greatest writers and artists.

Geek Wear: Age of Apocalypse Bracelets

Found awesome looking Age of Apocalypse (AoA) related stuff; this time a bracelet created from scraps for a comic book table. As you can see we can briefly see the images of the AOA versions of Gambit, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Jubilee.
