It's actually not a surprise that X-Men members Storm and Nightcrawler were supposed to be a couple before the former's untimely death during Second Coming but with his apparent return to the world of the living in Amazing X-Men, readers find out more about the never-happened couple. This is all thanks to Jason Aaron and Ed McGuiness.
So basically, Storm was about to get some major hurt but was rescued by Nightcrawler and his bamfs at the last minute.
It's during this that we learn that Kurt and Ororo had a thing years back when they were still 'freshmen' at Charles Xavier's school.
Oh and they also kick ass...
So what do you think? Should we ship them once again? Problem is, Ororo is currently Logan's girl. Here's the cover lest I forget.
I love the cover, the action was great and we get to see just how surly and how dangerous The Beast can be when his hand is forced.
Amazing X-Men # 3 everybody. Get yours from your favorite local comic stores including Druid's Keep, Filbars, Comic Odyssey, Dragon's Keep, Planet X and Comic Quest.

Is Chris Claremont Writing a Nightcrawler Solo Book?
Marvel Comics has released a new one-word teaser connoting the famous SFX that Nightcrawler's makes whenever he teleports.
Nobody's talking yet but I'm really hoping that this would be the case since the creative team attached to this project is big bad X-Daddy himself Chris Claremont together with Todd Nauck.
Bout time they did something with both Claremont (who apparently is in Marvel's payroll as an exclusive for the longest time) and Nightcrawler who is set to return at the end of the first story arc for Jason Aaron's AMAZING X-MEN.

Amazing Moments from Amazing X-Men # 2
I'm definitely good with Jason Aaron's current "Amazing X-Men" book and with issue # 2 shipping out last week, I just had to focus on this in a blog post. So here folks, are some of the best moments (IMHO) from Amazing X-Men # 2 by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuiness.
1. Storm goes Ballistic on the demons
Left with no powers in hell, a very fierce Storm goes ballistic on the demons they are facing. You have to remember that Storm is no pushover. She once defeated Cyclops in a very serious fight without her powers.
2. A Peter Pan Reference
Resident semi-speedster Northstar also joins the fight somewhere in issue # 2 and he actually goes and give off this "Peter Pan" ish feel in his panel. Heck he's even asking if the demon pirates have a captain with a hook for his hand.
3. The Demon Pirate captains...
... are pretty cool. Hey was that Billy the Kid now having six arms manhandling Storm? Check out the knives on the other captain...
4. Iceman Freezes Hell
With nothing to loss, Bobby Drake cuts lose with his powers freezing the demonic horde and, he'll definitely make the Eagles proud what with "Hell freezes over" and stuff.
5. Professor X is in Heaven

One of the really weird things about AXM is the fact that the X-Men are totally oblivious to where they were teleported. Sure you can say that they were not expecting it but doesn't it seem to be a bit off-character to not be able to determine whatsoever where the blue imp-like bamfs have teleported them to. Firestar, Storm and Iceman even took a couple of pages to realize that they were in hell and all that. A bit of a suck that's all.
Oh and yeah, Professor X is making a cameo here in heaven as he's the voice of reason and logic Wolverine is hearing while clinging to dear life on a plank. (Yeah... don't ask)
Overall, I liked Amazing X-Men # 2 and I'm still at the edge of my seat waiting for how they'll overcome this new challege.
And eventually figure out a way to bring back Nightcrawler from the dead.

I'm always a big sucker for Ed McGuiness' artwork and here he is again with Jason Aaron for AMAZING X-MEN # 1 featuring the return of NIGHTCRAWLER .
What would you do to save a fallen friend? This November, in the wake of Battle of the Atom, Wolverine must assemble the X-Men’s finest to attempt a daring rescue in AMAZING X-MEN #1, a swashbuckling new series from writer Jason Aaron and artist Ed McGuinness!
The X-Men are through mourning the loss of Nightcrawler, the “heart and soul” of their family – it’s time to act! Wolverine must lead Storm, Beast, Iceman and more on an epic journey to recover one of their greatest allies in a story that’s been building since WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #1!
“AMAZING X-MEN is the newest can’t miss X-Men book.” says Senior Editor Nick Lowe. “Two creators at the top of their game, fully committed, bringing back possibly the best X-Man ever… and that’s just the first arc! Just wait until you see what Jason and Ed have up their sleeves!”
Deadly foes! Swashbuckling adventures! Plenty of little blue Bamfs! How far will the Amazing X-Men go to rescue one of their own? And what price will they pay? Find out just how far this November when Nightcrawler returns in AMAZING X-MEN #1!

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN # 35 Spoilers - Nightcrawler Teaser
Jason Aaron's latest arc in WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN entitled "The Hellfire Saga" has ended and it brings some interesting twists and status quo changes.
Some of the things that happened in the final chapter of WAXM's "Hellfire Saga" arc.
Idie and Quintin Quire are finally a couple:

You may or may not like the pairing (I'm for the for the former) but you can't help but think that this was already revealed in an early issue of WATXM. It's only now that things have started to move towards that direction. Which could also mean that Evan/ Genesis becomes Apocalypse is getting closer.
Mystique and Sabretooth's Plan

We'll probably see more of the new Hellions when X-MEN: BATTLE OF THE ATOM officially begins next week. It'll also be cool to finally see what Creed and Raven are up to ever since ALL NEW X-MEN officially began.
BROO returns

Thanks to a familiar yet mysterious figure, we get Broo back. If you're unsure what happened to the little feller, he was shot in a makeshift Church by Max Frankenstein point blank. The X-Men stitched him back up but at the cost of Broo's intellect. An encounter with a blue Bamf however has made it certain that the returning Nightcrawler gets a good tease.
Amazing X-Men is definitely coming

One of the best things about this issue is the revelation that Kurt Wagner will be needing his fellow X-Men's help in the near future. Most probably when they deal with Kurt's resurrection as well as the fight with Kurt's daddy Azazel.

Steampunk X-Men by Arturo Aguirre
What if the X-Men were given new life in a steampunk era. Here's what they'd look like as rendered by Arturo Aguirre.
Am I the only one who thinks Steampunk Gambit looks fucking awesome for the X-Dudes. Its like the guy stepped out of the photo session for The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club" and never returned.
As for the X-Ladies, I'm giving my vote to Psylocke (although Rogue comes in at close second)...
Aguirre's Cable, for all thoughts, definitely fits the mold of what STEAMPUNK really is...
Major props for the Blunderbuss.

And now it's time for the bad guys:
Steampunk Magneto

Steampunk Mystique

Steampunk Sabretooth

Steampunk Pyro

Check out the artists' other works on his deviantart account HERE

Diamond Select Toys Features Marvel Select Nightcrawler Prototype
Here's a quick look at the prototype for the upcoming Marvel Select Nightcrawler figure from Diamond Select Toys.
I'm actually getting especially since I already have the tiger stripe Wolverine as well as the classic Colossus in my toy shelf. This figure will complete the "All New" trinity. Since it's still in the prototype stages, no release date has been attached for the figure.

Speculation: Age of Apocalypse Crossing Over with 616 X-Men
A new teaser featuring a fight between Wolverine and the AOA (Age of Apocalypse) Nightcrawler who also happens to his former teammate in Uncanny X-Force.
I'm calling it now, the X-Men will be facing the X-Terminated team from David Lapham's alternate reality, kick ass book. Pretty obvious too.

Uncanny X-Force # 34 Spoilers
In this issue, further proof that the former physical form of Fantomex won't be coming back. Also which Brotherhood members die in this issue.
So to begin with, it looks like Fantomex will be coming back, but not in the same way that we all wanted it to be. For all we know, we could be seeing a rebooted version of Fantomex merging the old Fantomex with the EVA character.

Marvel Select Soon to Release Nightcrawler, Storm and Ultron Figures
Toy Fair 2012 yields some great looking figures from DST (Diamond Select Toys) including the MS classic Nightcrawler, Storm and Ultron.
These figures looks really great and while we really haven't seen what part of the Danger Room will be added into the mix, it's pretty clear that the Danger Room diorama is going to immense!
