Trending: Davao Guard Assaults Mentally Challenged Man in Church

Trending on Facebook this Black Saturday is a story that is making the rounds on everybody's timeline. This is a classic tale of hypocrisy folks.

Before putting my comments, here's a tip of the hat to Mr. Karlos Manlupig who shared this very saddening situation.

So anyway, here's what he had to say (or basically, the text that came along with the photo)...

FILTHY HYPOCRITES. As I was shooting in Davao City's San Pedro Cathedral during the observance of Good Friday, I noticed a Tagalog speaking man instructing this security guard to throw out a half-naked man who is silently kneeling and praying inside the church, saying that the churches in Manila prohibit persons with mental disabilities and vagrants to enter its premises. The security guard then assaulted the poor man without any warning poking him in the ribs several times using a "ratan" truncheon...

.I immediately took several burst shots of the detestable incident. Suddenly, an old man with a Bible in his hand tapped me on my shoulder and told me that it is improper to take photos of the incident and that it is also improper to take photos inside their heavenly church. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? Tama si Dong Abay. Banal na aso, santong kabayo. (Copyright: Karlos Manlupig)

NOTE: I opted to post this blurry picture to preserve the identity of the victim.

It's really saddening to know that there are actually people like this. Okay, yeah its one thing to call out the attention of security when it comes to these kinds of situations. Naniniwala akong normal pa nga yun e. But c'mon dude, the guy was praying (or that's what I've understood based on the story provided). You do not poke other dudes in the middle of prayer. Its politically incorrect to poke other people with "rattan" sticks. Yes, even if they are half naked and greasy.

Regardless if the dude was mentally challenged or not, it was still a Roman Catholic church. It was a house of worship. It's not Via Mare or Re-fucking-publiq or whatever the hell these elitist bastards go for a good time.

Its a church. And its a damn good Cathedral too,  based on the photos from Google.

The second thing that really irked me was the story about how even Mr. Manlupig got the short end of the hypocrisy bid thanks to the man who pointed out that its prohibited to take photos like this (i'm getting a vibe that this was Lucifer sent up from hell to throw in more gears into the cogs so to speak).

Okay going back to the first one, kuya guard ang sama ng ginawa mo.

Timing naman men. Hindi naman sya mukhang nagsisisigaw sa loob ng simbahan kaya let him be na lang. At, at, at, kelangan mo pa ba talagang sabihing pinapaalis yung ganyan sa loob ng simbahan sa Maynila. DUDDDDDEEE! Sobrang mali. sobrang nakakairita na pa-konyo na ewan yung ginawa mo. Kelangan pa bang sabihin yun?

While typing this, it hit me on so many levels that this is the more appropriate song for the scenerio.

Yes manong guard, what if the man you threw out and POKED WITH A FRIGGING RATTAN STICK was Jesus Christ? You might have damned us all for that simple act ya jerk.

And yes, Karl also cited "Banal na Aso Santong Kabayo" by Yano (specifically Dong Abay) which we have a Youtube video.

Happy Easter everybody. Practice being CHRIST-LIKE.
