A word of warning, there's lots of violence and gore here. Yes, gore as in intestines kinda gore. Be wary.

Xbox 360 Users Should Blame The Following for Metal Gear Solid Legacy Absence
Metal Gear Solid creator and gaming deity Hideo Kojimo went on his radio show to discuss the absence of the long awaited Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection for Xbox 360 users and fans.
So who should we Xbox gamers blame for the absence of this astounding set?

Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection Announced in South Korea
Too bad for Playstation 3 owners who jumped at the Metal Gear Solid HD remastered disc as we'll soon be getting all the Metal Gear Games that were released for the Playstation.
So it's the four Metal Gear Solid games plus the remastered, HD version of Peace Walker. I do want to point out that I totally love that poster.
Hideo Kojima must be proud.

The Phantom Pain Trailer Surfaces
Hideo Kojima is still keeping mum on the truth behind the new Konami game 'The Phantom Pain' which uses the new Fox Engine and is developed by new company Moby Dick Studio.
Check out the trailer after the cut plus some screenshots.
Now check out some of the screenshots from the trailer with a bit of comments.
1. The main character's back is always seen so we rarely get to see his face. The final moments of the trailer did treat us to a view of the protagonist who looks very much like a certain commando we know as Big Boss/ Solid Snake.
If that's still not enough, here's a bigger and better picture of the mysterious new character from Siliconera.
2. The mystery man even crawls very much like how Snake crawls.
3. There's also death, mystery, flames and running...
4. There's also the mystery people who aren't the protagonist including what seems to be the horse that once belonged to The Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and the mysterious figure named Joakim N. Mogren.
The Phantom Pain will be available for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
Update: The good folks at THE VIDEO GAME GUILD (looking at you Leandro) that Kojima has no direct connection to this project and that the bandaged man isn't Joakim (it's actually an anagram for Kojima), which doesn't make sense since Hideo san ain't involved. blergh.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Review
Just beat Metal Gear Rising Revengeance on Normal mode and here's what I think about this game.
This new Metal Gear game ditches long time hero Solid Snake in favor of the MGS2 co-star Raiden. While it carries the Metal Gear name, it's anything but. This new game focuses more on action rather than stealth and the gameplay gets a major overhaul as well.
In this new game Raiden is hot on the heels of a rival PMC (Private Military Company) which did something terrible to Raiden. Basically, this is a revenge story. Scratch that it actually sets out as a revenge story but then ends up as an entirely different tale. That being said, the story is catchy and brings about some subplots that were mentioned back when players had the chance to control Raiden back in Sons of Liberty such as Raiden repressing his other persona, the dreaded "Jack the Ripper".
Anyway, in this newmovie game, the old stealth mechanics is thrown out the window thanks to Platinum Studios stepping up to the plate. Yup, apparently this project was already this close to getting scrapped but thanks to the 11th hour save by Platinum, we can now enjoy this game in the comfort of our homes. Revengeance spells ACTION and not STEALTH. I'd really want to do a more in-depth review, but what the heck, here's bullet points! YAY!
(Also starting this point, mostly everything goes ALL CAPS).

The PS3 Exclusive DLC for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will soon be upon us so the topic of DLCs is really inevitabitable. So what's the very first DLC that will be released by Konami? Well it's none other than the classic VR Missions.
Back when the Playstation was cool and Metal Gear Solid was the shiznit, I'd spend hours playing the VR Missions if not to hone the stealth skills needed to get a great rank for MGS. This of course is a mighty throwback to that day and age only this time instead of using MGS star Solid Snake (or his daddy Big Boss) we'll be using Raiden.

Revoltech Metal Gear Solid Naked Snake Revealed
Toyark.com reveals that Bigbadtoystore.com has just set a pre-order for a Revoltech Metal Gear Solid - Naked Snake.
The current price on the website? $64.99 but Toyark assures us that this is only a placeholder price. The good thing about this is that the price could be lower than what is expected. Damn you Kaiyodo, why now? Why now when there are so many other cool stuff that needs buying

Cover Art for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
I've been waiting for this for some time now and it's officially been released - the cover art for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance (even after all this time, it's still a mouthful).
Again if you're going to look for Solid Snake (or Old Snake) or even Big Boss here, you won't find it here in this game because this is the new Raiden show. Think of this as the Metal Gear version of what Square did with Dirge of Cerberus...

Konami is Working on a New Zone of the Enders Game!
Konami has officially announced that they are working on a "Zone of the Enders" game.
The new game has a working title of "Enders Project" (No relation to Enders Game) and is still being developed. This means we all have to wait a while for any new details.
Fret not Konami fans and ZOE fans! We should be happy at the very least because the game publisher plans to already release the awesome "Zone of the Enders HD Compilation".
This remastered edition (according to Konami) will have stunning graphics way superior to that of the Playstation 2 incarnation of the game and will have loads of other goodies.
Heck the best news about this is the fact that its also available for the Xbox 360 and will be available this fall.
