Will Nick Fury Die in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

The second TV spot for Marvel Studios' Captain America: The Winter Soldier is giving us the idea that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) will most likely die in the movie.

Watch TV Spot # 2 for Captain America: The Winter Soldier below:

He said it. He actually implied that Jackson's Nick Fury dies. But that didn't happen in the comic book version. Also I'm counting how many movies has Jackson appeared as Nick Fury and it doesn't make sense. :(

But truth be told, it's really unlikely that they'd be taking out Nick Fury so early in the game. Marvel knows that Fury's appearance holds cohesion for the Marvel Cinematic Universe so why are they planning to take him out? Agent Coulson's role has been diminished since Marvel's The Avengers so now more than ever we need Fury.

Still I'd watch this badboy. I'm already rooting to see "The Twins"

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 2 and distributed locally by Walt Disney Studios.

The KITE Trailer is Now Out

I personally classify Kite as hentai. But that's just my personal opinion. Still it's a visual and storytelling masterpiece and has been cited by a lot of Hollywood types including Quintin Tarantino.

The film stars lead actress India Eisley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Underworld: Awakening, Maleficent) and and Callan McAuliffe (I Am Number Four, New Director). The Deadline website describes the project as "a character-driven action film that charts the story of Sawa (Eisley), a young woman living in a failed state after the financial collapse, where a corrupt security force profits on the trafficking of young women. When Sawa's policeman father is killed, she vows to track the murderer down with the help of his ex-partner, Karl Aker (Jackson)."

The synopsis for the Western adaptation (not the Yasuomi Umetsu directed OVA) alone is already telling us that a lot of things were swept under the rug including the constant sexual abuse that Sawa experiences at the hands of her guardian/ handler.

The violence is still there though as well as the exploding bullets that's basically Sawa's M.O. Seriously, wrapping this up as an action film takes out like half the fun (or agitation) IMHO.

Robocop Director José Padilha on Remaking the Classic

In 1987, director Paul Verhoeven thrilled the world with “RoboCop,”the tale of a cyborg cop that patrols the streets of a futuristic Detroit in the name of justice. Now, filmmaker José Padilha (“Elite Squad”) reintroduces “RoboCop” when the science fiction that the original movie depicted in the 80’s is actually now closer to science than to fiction.

Columbia Pictures' “RoboCop” stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley and Jay Baruchel. The screenplay is by Joshua Zetumer, based on the 1987 motion picture written by Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner.

Director Jose Padilha talks about re-inventing “RoboCop” in the following interview.

Q: How was the idea of remaking “RoboCop” born?

Jose Padilha: Around 3 years ago I went to a meeting at MGM, because they wanted to talk to me about some projects they had. They mentioned several movies they were interested in doing but that didn’t really appeal to me, until I saw they had a poster of the original “RoboCop” on the wall in the background and I said to them: ‘That’s the one I want to do!’

Q. Why did you want to do it?

Padilha: Because I wanted to shoot a movie that talked about the relation between fascism and the automation of law enforcement, like the first film already did; but make it more current, as we are on the verge of having to face this reality.

Q: What was the main premise of the story?

Padilha: We are in the future (2028) and all the superpowers are using robots for war, but in America they don’t allow them to be deployed domestically for law enforcement because there is a law that forbids the machine to pull the trigger. That was my take from day 1, in that room, and that is the movie we have shot.

Q: How was the process of finding the right actor to play the lead role of Alex Murphy/RoboCop?

Padilha: I spent a lot of time trying to find the right actor for this role, and Joel Kinnaman - after delivering a great first audition - was the one that kept coming back and doing it better and better. And even though we didn’t have a finished script then, but only a couple of scenes for him to read, every time he returned he just nailed it. And that kept on happening until the moment I said: ‘Guys, lets stop looking. We have him!’”

Q: What do you believe Joel Kinnaman brought to that complex character?

Padilha: He was very patient, because every day he had to arrive to set early in order to put the suit on. And, actually, he did a lot of action scenes himself in that suit! But, to me, the most important thing he did was to deliver the extraordinary performance of a man who has a wife and a son he really loves and then one day wakes up to realize that he almost died and that to save his life his wife consented to a procedure that turned him into a robot. Now, to face that reality and understand the limitations of being a robot (you can’t touch your wife or your son, or even sleep at home) are amazing dramatic circumstances that in this case had to be delivered only with his face and one hand, and Joel did it brilliantly.

Q: How does his wife Clara react to what happens?

Padilha: The character of Clara Murphy is very dramatic because she has a loving husband and son, who really needs his father, and then suddenly she is forced to see Alex in a life and death situation and make a decision under a gigantic amount of pressure: am I going to allow this procedure to be done to him with the chance of seeing him later or should I let him go?

Q. Australian actress Abbie Cornish plays Clara Murphy. What was required of her for that role?

Padilha: What was required of her was a pretty big range, because we see her with her husband as a happy couple but later also under a lot of stress. That’s not a role that can be played by any actress, but Abbie is just fantastic. The moment I saw her audition I knew she was Clara Murphy.

Q. And what can you say about Gary Oldman, who plays the scientist that makes the RoboCop project come to life?

Padilha: Gary is one of the most talented actors alive, who has complete control of the set and of the craft of his job. And, on top of that, he has this amazing talent to turn it on and off in a split second. He is so good that he can even make bad lines in a script work, which is something you have to be careful with because then you might not realize they weren’t bad lines in the first place… But Gary, of course, will tell you so.

Q. Michael Keaton portrays the head of OmniCorp, Raymond Sellars, the main villain of the story.

Padilha: Yes, but it is important to say that our villain is kind of grounded, manages a gigantic corporation and is also a genius. Michael created a character that was on the border between right and wrong, which was very smart. His performance in RoboCop is one of my favorites.

Q. Then you have Samuel L. Jackson as the media mogul Pat Novak, a huge supporter of the RoboCop program and OmniCorp’s plans to introduce law enforcement robots in America.

Padilha: He is just a force of nature as this media guy. When he steps onto the set every single camera looks at him.”

Q. How relevant are the themes of this film today?

Padilha: Paul Verhoeven created an iconic character that embodied the philosophical concept that automated law enforcement could lead to fascism. Funnily enough he did this in 1987, but now we are very close to this actually happening.

Q. Can you explain how close we are to this being a reality that we will have to deal with?

Padilha: If you open the newspaper every day you are going to end up reading about drones at least 50 times a year, if not more... Now they are piloted, but we are soon going to move on to drones that pilot themselves and robots that go to war and make their own decisions according to very sophisticated hardware and software without people being involved. This is going to happen. It was already in Verhoeven’s movie and it is also the reason I wanted to make this one, because what is being discussed in RoboCop is happening now and is going to be very prominent in the future

Q. So, what was your main goal with RoboCop?

Padilha: The challenge was to make a movie that touches key ideas about politics and about what it means to be human while still reaching a broad audience. You have to strike a balance between the drama and the fun, which you do by finding the right tone.

'Zambezia': 3D animation puts South Africa film in the picture

He's got blue wings, an adventurous spirit and is poised to be the latest film star to come out of South Africa. A high-spirited young falcon, Kai is the main character in "Zambezia," a new South African 3D animation film featuring an all-star voice cast, including Hollywood A-listers Samuel L. Jackson, Abigail Breslin, Jeff Goldblum, Leonard Nimoy and Jeremy Suarez.

Set in the majestic Victoria Falls and inspired by southern Africa's startling artwork, "Zambezia" is hoping to put South African animation on the map while enthralling children around the world with its uplifting message of togetherness. The movie, produced by Cape Town-based Triggerfish Animation Studios, has been selected as the closing film of the 33rd edition of the Durban International Film Festival..

"The film is a wonderful ambassador, in a way, of South Africa and I think as it travels the world it's going to spread the word about an industry that is young and vibrant and extremely talented," says "Zambezia" director and co-writer Wayne Thornley."In and of itself, I think it's just an enjoyable ride for children and they're going to come away wishing they could fly."

zambezia_new-image-k

The movie, which is targeted toward children aged five to 11, tells the story of Kai, an intrepid young falcon that's brought up by his strict father in an isolated outpost. His lonely life is turned upside down when a kooky bird crashes into his world and tells him of Zambezia -- a bustling bird city where "there's amazing food, music, sights and sounds."

A talented flier, Kai decides to leave his isolated upbringing behind him and explore life in Zambezia. He quickly realizes, however, that getting by in a city can be more difficult and demanding than living alone. Yet, after joining Zambezia's air force and defending it from a band of marauding lizards, he also discovers the true values of teamwork and community sharing. Thornley says the movie was guided by the traditional African principle of ubuntu, which he describes roughly as "a person is a person only because of other people" -- he says that the movie's heartwarming theme will resonate with both African and international audiences.

"Everyone can relate to that idea that it's better, it's easier to do things together, that teams are just more vibrant and get more things done," he says. "They are difficult and messy and it's not always easy but it is worth it -- I think that's a universal theme and I hope that audiences around the world come away with that kind of message going: it's safer to stay alone but it's not better."

zambezia_new-image-h

The concept for the movie originated about seven years ago but production took just over two years to be completed. The third computer generated 3D film to be made in South Africa, "Zambezia" is "probably the biggest budget animated film ever to come out of anywhere in Africa," says Thornley -- Triggerfish was unable to disclose how much the film cost, but said its budget was under $20 million.

The movie's international appeal is expected to be raised by the high-profile roster of actors lending their voices to the characters. Thornley says it all became possible after well-known U.S. producer Mace Neufeld saw the film by chance. "He liked what he saw and he finally got involved and started opening doors for us."
Working with top Hollywood stars such as Jackson and Goldblum was "an honor" and "really fun", says Thornley.

zambezia_new-image-g

"It was gratifying that they treated it seriously like any project," he says. "We tend to think of ourselves that we're this little studio but they were fantastic and it was really a great experience," he adds.

"Zambezia" had its world premiere at France's Annecy Animation Festival last month. It will hit the big screen in South Africa release is scheduled for December 26 and in the Philippines will release on December 11.
It has already been sold in more than 30 territories for screening in over 50 countries, including a distribution deal in English-speaking territories with Sony, according to Triggerfish Animation.

Thornley says South Africa's animation industry is still young and small but it is "definitely punching above its weight."

"I want people to sit back and have a fantastic time with the characters and have a fantastic insight into some of the amazing African landscapes that we've put into this film," says Thornley.

"But also I want them to come away really surprised that something like that could come out of Africa and South Africa in particular”

‘’ZAMBEZIA’’ is released and distributed by Captive Cinema.

Turbo 3D Review

Reviewing Turbo 3D from Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox featuring the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Michelle Rodriguez and more.

I have to admit that I wasn't really psyched to see Turbo. But imagine me being quite happy that I was wrong with my initial outlook at the movie as it was actually tons of fun to watch.

The film follows the life of Theo aka Turbo (Ryan Reynolds) who dreams to go fast and gets his wish after a freak accident grants him the power of speed. Together with his brother Chet (Paul Giamatti) and his ragtag crew of snails, Turbo goes on to the Indy 500 and win it as well.

The 3D for the movie works great. In fact, it's one of the better movies that utilized 3D technology. That or I just like all the dashing and chasing that's going on here in the movie. Anyway, the movie is chockful of key scenes and the thing about the promotional materials that appeared for Turbo is the fact they never gave away any of this.

I loved the theme here about reaching for your star, being a shooting star for others and more importantly being a brother/ buddy to the people who are dear to you. There's a lot of great moment there that left a sole tear in my eye where Chet risks his life in order to be there with his brother. So much feels on that particular scene. Everybody can relate in that, I was just caught off guard that I got to see that in a movie about a speedster snail.

Voice casting/ usage was hit or miss. Reynolds as Turbo was just OK. Paul Giamatti as Chet was great because we see him play with a wide range of emotions for the OCD snail. That plus I can already hear him go full Samuel L. Jackson and Snoop Doog owned their respective roles here. Maya Rudolph as Burn was great. Bill Hader's take on champion racer Guy Gagne' was weak. I dunno, I still prefer Sacha Baron Cohen's take as French driver Jean Girard.

The animated feature is enjoyable and is a total hoot to watch with the entire family. In fact there's something for everybody in "Turbo 3D". The racing and action sequences will fit for Dads and big brothers, then there's the humor bit and emotional bit for the moms and sisters. Overall, I totally loved "Turbo 3D" and you'd be a snail if you missed out on seeing this visually and emotionally satisfying animated featured.

"Turbo 3D" opens July 19 from 20th Century Fox and Dreamworks Animation.

Meet the Colorful Characters from Dreamwork's TURBO

“Turbo” (in 3D and 2D) is a heart-stopping action adventure with lively characters starring the voices of Ryan Reynolds as Theo/Turbo, Paul Giamatti as Chet, Samuel L. Jackson as Whiplash, Snoop Dogg as Smoove Move, Maya Rudolph as Burn, Ben Schwartz as Skidmark, Mike Bell as White Shadow, Michael Peña as Tito, Luis Guzman as Angelo, Bill Hader as Guy Gagne, Ken Jeong as Kim Ly and Michelle Rodriguez as Paz.

The family film from DreamWorks Animation centers on the engaging crew of snails starting with a garden snail named Turbo who leaves his snail community behind to begin his journey to fulfill his dream of becoming a racer in the Indy 500. Swept from a freeway overpass onto the hood of a sports car, and is then propelled into the muscle car’s air intake valve, Turbo is then charged with explosive nitrous oxide, altering his molecular structure. The freak accident infuses Turbo with incredible speed – he can reach 200 miles per hour – and he now blazes across the streets of Los Angeles like a neon bullet.

Along the way, Turbo and his brother Chet meet new snails who help achieve his dream of joining the Indy 500 race.

Check out “Turbo’s Snail Crew” clip here - http://youtu.be/7OOCo1phfxo

CHET

Turbo’s cautious, protective and supportive brother voiced by multi award winning actor Paul Giamatti. Chet is a snail who is a stick-in-the-mud and do-everything-by-the-rules kind of guy. His philosophy is: “Do not try to leave your shell or do anything risky. ’I am not a risk-taker. I am ‘Mr. Safety’.”

WHIPLASH

7434953_Turbo_Whiplash

The charismatic leader and reigning champ of the Racing Snails voiced by Samuel L. Jackson. A warm jovial guy who treats his crew like family who helps Turbo realize his dream. Whiplash has great inspiring abilities. He's able to rally people around him and to make them think that they're capable of doing things that they ordinarily wouldn't be able to do.

SMOOVE MOVE

7399250_Turbo_Smoove Move

The Zen-like, laid back racing snail voiced by multi-platinum artist, actor and entertainment icon Snoop Dogg. A super-cool-low-rider with a blinged-out shell whose motto is derived from what his mamma taught him “Don’t mess with what you’ve been blessed with. I’m S-to-the-M-to-the-double- O-V-E! Wouldn’t change that for the world! Preach.”

BURN

7363640_Turbo_Burn

Burn is the only female in the crew voiced by SNL icon Maya Rudolph. A toughie who doesn’t have trouble holding her own amidst the testosterone-fueled, speed-worshipping teammates. Sly and sassy and always chewing gum, Burn hides her soft side under a hard outer shell (adorned with shooting flames).

SKIDMARK

7386156_Turbo_Skidmark

Skidmark or Number 13, this master of skids is voiced by Ben Schwartz. Sentimental and gravity-defiant, his shell is souped-up like a dragster prone to make long skidding noises.

WHITE SHADOW

7448328_Turbo_White Shadow

White Shadow resembles an intriguing cross between Jabba the Hut and Evel Knievel voiced by Mike Bell (a former DreamWorks Animation storyboard artist who initially done the temp voice but the short-term gig became a co-starring voice role due to the perfect voice initially rendered). Full of false bravado and real laughs, White Shadow considers himself to be “fast, like a shadow” – ignoring the fact that shadows aren’t inherently fast. White Shadow prefers to be mysterious and his dream is to have a burrito named after him to be called White Shadorrito.

Turbo 3D - High Velocity Animation

Meet Turbo (voiced by Ryan Reynolds), an underdog snail who dreams to overdrive just like his idol who races in the Indy 500. At the start, Turbo is somewhat of an outcast in the snail community, which is less about big dreams and more about punching a time clock at their place of employment.

Training tirelessly all his life, he miraculously gained speed at an opportune time he met a crew of streetwise, tricked-out es-car-goes. Learning that no one can make it on their own in the fast lane. He and his newfound pals help each other achieve their impossible dream of racing in the Indy 500.

"Turbo," says director and co-screenwriter David Soren, is a mash-up of superhero and racing film genres, but “at its heart, TURBO really is an underdog story. The character Turbo has all the hallmarks of an underdog. You expect nothing of snails, whose lives are stacked with obstacles, like being really, really slow. But once you dig into it, a snail is the perfect character to have at the center of an underdog story.”

But turning an everyday, garden snail into a mighty mollusk who travels at super-speed? “Turbo’s dream of becoming something that’s completely in opposition to its nature is ripe for conflict, surprises and a satisfying payoff” when the dream becomes reality,” says Soren.

Soren came up with the idea for "Turbo" almost a decade ago. He described it to DreamWorks Animation management at one of the company’s “pitch program” conclaves, at which DreamWorks employees can pitch their ideas for possible future projects. “At the time it was a very complex idea – the ‘Fast and Furious with Snails,’” he remembers.

As he developed the idea, Soren was inspired by events and people very close to home. His primary muse, he notes, “was my young son, who since before he could talk has been obsessed with toy cars and racing, and could identify virtually any car on the street by its make and model.”

Soren also found motivation in his own front yard, which had a “snail problem” that was eating away at his tomato plants. “This marriage of the slow [the snails] and speed [his son’s preoccupation] was the catalyst that led me to the bones of the story centered on a snail who dreams of racing glory.”

Luckily, the requisite comedic and dramatic acting chops, and bigger-than-life persona, are embodied by Ryan Reynolds, whom Soren describes as “the perfect match” for Turbo. “It all really sounded amazing, and I fell in love with its classic underdog story, which TURBO takes to a new level,” Reynolds continues. “It takes a unique if not insane perspective to bring a snail to life in this way. What I love most about Turbo is his tenacity and refusal to give up on his dream. In fact, it doesn’t even occur to him to give up. Talent is a collision between hard work and luck, and that’s what Turbo is.”

"Turbo" also features a stellar voice cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Giamatti, Michael Pena, Luis Guzman, Bill Hader, Snoop Dogg, Maya Rudolph and Ben Schwartz.

"Turbo" (3D) opens July 19 in theaters nationwide from DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

All Systems Go for 'Turbo' 3D

Audiences love to root for courageous dreamers who pursue their goals when the odds are stacked firmly against them. It’s a tradition that has stood the test of time and one that has a powerful appeal for filmmaker David Soren, who tells the story of an unusual underdog – or under snail –in the animated 3Dfilm, “Turbo.”

Voiced by Ryan Reynolds, Turbo dreams of being fast, fast enough to compete against champions in one of the world’s toughest car races. Defying logic, physics, nature and critics (including his own brother) the small snail sets out on a thrilling adventure.

Director David Soren describes Turbo in the new movie from DreamWorks Animation, as the ultimate underdog’, for obvious reasons. “ Turbo is a snail and snails are constantly faced with challenges. They are smushed, salted and stepped on; they're eaten in some parts of the world,” says Soren who set his story in Southern California where he lives with his family. The filmmaker became fascinated with the snails he observed in his own front yard. “Mother Nature has dealt them a bad hand,” he says. “When it seems impossible for a character to have any chance of success, that's exactly what makes a great underdog story. And that’s what it is like for Turbo.”

Turbo dreams of escaping the mundane confines of his sluggish community. Frustrated with life in the slow lane, he has a fantasy of racing glory and an adrenaline-fueled life that’s a far cry from the yard where he lives with his cautious brother Chet (Paul Giamatti). Frustrated by his own physical limitations, Turbo wants to move at high speed and is inspired by his hero, a French Canadian racing driver.

Ryan Reynolds Voices Animated Characters in "The Croods" and "Turbo"

Ryan Reynolds lends his voice in the animated 3D movies "The Croods" and "Turbo" coming out this year from DreamWorks Animation wherein both his roles set in motion the greatest changes in the midst of momentous journeys captured in groundbreaking 3D images.

Starring Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener and Cloris Leachman, "The Croods" is a comedy adventure that takes us back to a previously undiscovered era in the history of our planet known as the Croodaceous, when nature was still a work-in-progress… full of never-before- seen creatures and landscapes. Reynolds voices Guy who comes across the Croods family whose patriarch named Grug (Cage) along with his wife Ugga (Keener), daughter Eep (Stone) and the rest of the brood when the earth's core started to move them around out of safety and into a new world.

Django Unchained Review PART !

Here's my take on the "Django Unchained" directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson. The film will be locally distributed by Columbia Pictures Philippines and opens March 13 with an R-16 rating.

Tarantino releases his 'love letter' for the Spaghetti Western genre in the film and it's an interesting mix of violence and metaphysical discussions of Freedom. There's a lot of great things to love (or like) about Django Unchained from the visuals, to the humor to the action right down to the themes in the film.

Also before I proceed, I'd just like to point out that I'll keep things simple. Lots of reviews have already been released using high-fallutin' words and I don't want that. I don't want to use a lot of fancy snazzy terms that other reviews used for their review of Django so I'll make it simple.

Jamie Foxx plays the titular Django Freeman, a former slave who buys his freedom from bounty hunter Dr. King Schulze (Academy Award Winner Christoph Waltz) and later goes on a blood-soaked mission to rescue his wife Broomhilda Von Shaft from rich plantation owner Calvin Candy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his Uncle Tom archetype butler Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson). The movie is set in the Southern states from Texas all the way to Mississippi and occurs two years before the United States Civil War just so you know.

I love the visuals here in the film. Django Unchained is set in different locales native to the story and to America. There's snowy mountains and rough terrains like badlands and even the basic sleepy town. Since this is a Tarantino film, you can be damned sure that thing the guy who also directed classic films like "Kill Bill" and "Inglorious Basterds" will play with the settings. One great example here is the use classic blood spurt on cotton plants. This of course happens in Big Daddy's plantation (Big Daddy is played by Don Johnson). This is also very symbolic in the sense that this completely ends the days of Django living as a slave.

Another thing that might appeal to you in Django Unchained is the thematic use of the Germanic myth 'Ring of the Nibelung' to shadow Django's quest to rescue his wife Broomhilda Von Shaft.  I believe the right term to use when a film draws parallels to a myth is called monomyth. That's what Tarantino used in this movie. In the original myth, the epic's hero, Siegfried had to overcome three obstacles before reaching his beloved wife Broomhilda. He had to scale a high mountain (which might be the analogy for Big Daddy), bathe in the blood of a dragon (Calvin Candy) and in the end he had to go through hellfire in order to win back Broomhilda. It's amazing how Tarantino used all three and still manage to develop a pretty good flick.

The music is pretty awesome here. Of course Tarantino'd be stupid if he didn't call in the superb stylings and scorings of Ennio Morricone. The main title track, Django is a throwback to the classic Western and Spaghetti Westerns that prevailed in the 70s and 80s. Luis Bacalov and Rocky Roberts provides the first track which pretty much got me hooked. Other tracks in the OST that appeared in the film was "Who Did That To You" by John Legend which is a nice mix of modern themes together with classic sensibilities. Awesome shit.

Thus ends part 1 of my review for Django Unchained. The film is now showing with an R-16 rating from the Philippines' MTRCB. No cuts whatsoever so you should steel yourself for the violence and the racial slurs and Jamie Foxx's junk.

First Look for Dreamworks' TURBO featuring Ryan Reynolds

Dreamworks is set to change the pace in racing when it finally releases “Turbo” in theaters worldwide on July 19 starring the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Snoop Dogg, Maya Rudolph, Ben Schwartz and Samuel L. Jackson.

In “Turbo,” a snail named Theo (voiced by Reynolds) dreams of being the greatest racer in the world making him an oddity in the slow and cautious community he belongs. An impossible dream of an ordinary snail comes true when luck struck him with an incredible speed one fateful day. With his dream suddenly within reach, Theo aka Turbo embarks on a journey after being transported to a rundown strip mall where visitors bet on races featuring snails and meets a ragtag of street-smart snails headed by Whiplash (Samuel L. Jackson), Smoove Move (Snoop Dogg), Burn (Maya Rudolph) and Skidmark (Ben Schwartz).

NECA to Release Django Unchained Dolls

Here's a quick look at the Django Unchained dolls from NECA featuring titular character Django (Jamie Foxx) and Schultz (Christoph Waltz).

Schultz played by Christoph Waltz, the man who rescues Django from slavery...

Electro err I mean Django with the silent D.

Stephen is Candy's right hand man. A very vile and sinister old man played by Samuel L. Jackson
Check out the other characters after the cut...
