Clay Rodery and his Cool Looking Batman Project

Here's a cool animated project that's currently in the works from artist Clay Rodery featuring the characters from the Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. 

There's no other details or whether or not this is going to be a full-fledged fan-made animated feature but based on these gifs, it looks exciting.

I wonder what's Batman doing inside a catacomb? Then there's also Catwoman once again riding on the Batpod. 

Another interesting point here is the appearance of Jim Gordon plus The Joker who wears something really memorable. 

Then there's also other rogues like the Scarecrow from Batman Begins and Bane from TDKR

And finally, the girls will swoon over the special appearance of Joseph Gordon Levitt's John 'Robin' Blake.

Superman is Chained and Arrested in Man of Steel Teaser Poster

Henry Cavill's Superman is chained and dragged away in this new poster for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.

I've heard reports of this scene as early as SDCC 2012 but I wasn't counting on this being the first promotional poster for the movie. Anyway the new Superman movie from Warner Bros. will also star Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod and is produced by The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan.

TOM HARDY, FROM “DARK KNIGHT RISES” TO “LAWLESS”

Fresh from terrorizing Gotham City as the formidable villain Bane in the blockbuster “The Dark Knight Rises” last July, Tom Hardy is back on the big screen as a ruthless gangster in The Weinstein Company's epic thriller “Lawless.”

To be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas (Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma) starting Oct. 24, “Lawless” is the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers: three bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia. Based on author Matt Bondurant’s fictionalized account of his family, The Wettest County in the World, the film gathers an ensemble of gifted, dynamic new-generation stars – LaBeouf, Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke and Mia Wasikowska – alongside two of the finest actors of their generations, Guy Pearce and Gary Oldman.

A riveting, intense story of crime and corruption, loyalty and love, brutality and tenderness, “Lawless” is a rich addition to the American gangster canon.

Shia LaBeouf had been looking for opportunities to work with acclaimed English actor Tom Hardy. The two had struck up a friendship after LaBeouf sent Hardy a fan email about his arresting performance in the crime biopic “Bronson,” and had begun forwarding scripts back and forth to one another. LaBeouf sent Bondurant’s novel The Wettest County in the World to Hardy, followed by Nick Cave’s screenplay for “Lawless.” Hardy loved them both, and proved to be ideal casting for the role of quiet, fearless and fearsome Forrest Bondurant.

Director John Hillcoat was also keen to work with Hardy, whose reputation as an exceptional talent preceded him. “I kept hearing about this incredible guy called Tom Hardy. I started watching his work, and I was awestruck - he was amazing. I could also see Tom and Shia as brothers. And Tom’s take on the character was quite audacious - he saw Forrest as the matriarch and the patriarch of the family, in the wake of their parents’ deaths. He wanted to explore Forrest’s softer side and play him in a quiet, contained way.”

Hillcoat adds, “By taking on the roles of the mother and the father of this family, he was really responsible and very caring, especially towards his brothers. But because of the time and the culture, he is unable to articulate it. Tom’s approach was very much about the different emotional textures there were to Forrest and how distilled and controlled he was. It was a unique and fascinating attitude towards the character.”

Tom Hardy has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors. He most recently appeared in Christopher Nolan’s critically hailed “Inception,” alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Ken Watanabe, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page.

Hardy rejoined Nolan on “The Dark Knight Rises” where he played the villain role of Bane opposite Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman.

Other films include “Warrior,” opposite Joel Edgerton, the story of two estranged brothers facing the fight of a lifetime, an inspirational action drama from director Gavin O’Connor; also “This Means War,” and the Cold War thriller, “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy” with Colin Firth and Gary Oldman.

New FAN MADE The Dark Knight Rises Posters Prominently Feature the Bat

People are really starting to talk about Batman's new ride known as "the Bat" since the arrival of the new clip; I've held judgment on this ride but not that it gets prominently featured in this new batch of posters (UNOFFICIAL BY THE WAY AS WHAT MY FRIENDS FROM WARNER IS SAYING - READ FAN MADE), I'm definitely thinking that it was a cool trade off for those old Tumblers.

It seems like the Batpod has been one of the few accessories/ figures that actually gained a lot of demand online. As such Hot Toys is re-releasing the 1/6th scale Batpod which will appear in "The Dark Knight Rises".

In view of the popularity of the Bat-pod collectible from The Dark Knight movie, Hot Toys is proud to present the Bat-pod collectible from the upcoming superhero blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises, which is the sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008), featuring the likeness and details of the Bat-pod from The Dark Knight Rises movie.

Believe me, I've seen the 1/6th scale Batmobile/Tumbler in one of the trips to the mall and I can say that this is going to be big. It's also going to really cool to see a collector have all these accessories in their room or house.

Warner Bros. Reveals New The Dark Knight Rises Posters

Warner Bros. has just unleashed three character banners for Christopher Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises.”

The banners individually feature Batman, Catwoman and Bane in what the studio calls “Rain” series. Another series dubbed as “Snow” is set to follow.

Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar® winner Christian Bale again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar® winner Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.

Returning to the main cast, Oscar® winner Michael Caine plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer.

“The Dark Knight Rises” is a presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures. Slated for release beginning July 19, 2012, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Dark Shadows Movie Review - A Smart and Entertaining Vampire Movie

Now before we proceed with this review, I just want to say that you will never go wrong if you go and see a movie directed by Tim Burton together with his wife Helena Bonham Carter and their frequent collaborator Johnny Depp.

The film is an adaptation of the wildly popular TV show of the same title revolving around the Collins household. Think "Munsters" only more British and with a rather higher level of comedy.

Depp stars in the film as Barnabas Collins; one of the earliest Collins who travelled from England all the way to the new world for business. He's funny and a bit arrogant and typical of Johnny Depp movies, a ladykiller.

This new movie for the younger generation delivers a good and fun time in this post-Avengers world we now live in. One of the biggest things that struck me is how surreal and gothic the Collinsport is both during Barnabas Collins' time and even during the 1970s era.I am not a gothic fan per se but I do enjoy looking at all things Gothic once in awhile and this movie just gave me a hankering for some gothic art just about now. I guess we all have to thank Burton for that part.
