Hot Toys is still not done with the Avengers as they're about to release *gasp* the 1/6th Scale Bruce Banner figure based on the likeness of actor Mark Ruffalo.
Dr. Bruce Banner was one of the great highlights of The Avengers. Mark Ruffalo’s wonderful performance as the gamma radiated doctor has been well-received by fans and critics.
Now Hot Toys is excited to present this widely anticipated 1/6th scale Bruce Banner Collectible Figure from the movie for fans to complete their Avengers collection. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner in the film, featuring the newly developed head sculpt, highly-detailed costume and accessories.
Check out more photos below:
Not too impressed. Can't say they nailed it. For me, it's really so-so. Still it's a must have for collectors and completists.
Also it's the perfect figure if you're a big fan of Ruffalo's other big movie "Now You See Me" where he plays the role of the Fifth Horseman/ Mastermind behind the "Four Horsemen" outfit.

Hot Toys Chitauri Foot Soldiers 1/6th Scale Preview
Looks like Hot Toys is still milking the Avengers franchise while it still can as they will be releasing a collectible set featuring a Chitauri footsoldier and a Chitauri Commander!
"Led by Loki in The Avengers, the Chitauri soldiers invaded New York and brought destruction to the city. It had been a tough battle for The Avengers to take on the overwhelming number of these extraterrestrial invaders!
The movie-accurate collectible set includes the Chitauri Footsoldier and Chitauri Commander in the film, featuring finely crafted head sculpts and bodies, highly-detailed weapons, and diorama stages with movable rubble pieces, which are presented together in a twin pack. Fans can collect this set to revisit the battle scene in the movie."

I'm not sure if this will be available by the end of the month or it'll take a while longer. It does spell cool and will ultimately complete your entire "The Avengers" 1/6th Scale collection.

Cobie Smulders, from "Marvel's The Avengers" to "Delivery Man"
She recently starred as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in “Marvel’s The Avengers,” which grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide. She will reprise her role for “Captain America Winter Soldier” which will be released on April 4, 2014 and also for “The Avengers 2.” But for now, Cobie Smulders stars in DreamWorks Pictures' “Delivery Man,” a heartfelt comedy about the complexities of life, seizing the day and becoming the person you are destined to be.
“Delivery Man” tells the story of affable underachiever David (Vince Vaughn) whose anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years earlier resulted in 533 children. David must now embark on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but also the father that he could become.
For the role of David’s girlfriend Emma, the filmmakers were looking to cast an actress who could hold her own opposite Vaughn on both a dramatic as well as comedic level. The part went to Cobie Smulders, who exuded a unique combination of toughness and vulnerability.
In the film, Emma is all too familiar with David’s shortcomings and is desperate for him to grow up. The fact that she is pregnant with his child makes things all the more complicated.
Smulders explains, “David comes to her door very late at night, and he's trying to make up with her. He hasn't been in touch for a while, and Emma has been trying to get in touch with him because she's pregnant. She is a New York City police officer and she's battling with the idea of this man being her child's father. Will he support her? Is he a good father figure? And so it's a journey for both of them in a way that Emma learns to trust David and David grows up.”
As irritated as Emma is with David, part of her wants to give him the chance to step up to the plate. “David is flaky. He's one of those guys, who's so sweet, so charming, and everybody loves him,” observes Smulders. “But, he's not dependable. And for someone like Emma who is so by the book, who is much more organized, having this person in her life can be very frustrating.”
Smulders says, “When Emma reveals that she's pregnant to David, he goes on a quest to prove to her that he could be a good father. It's almost like he doesn't have to prove it to her first, but he has to prove it to himself first. He starts showing up for ultrasound appointments and becomes very supportive. In the end, upon revealing his identity to her and to the world, saying, ‘I'm the father, and I want to be there for these people,’ is a huge testament to him growing up, becoming responsible, becoming present, and it shows her what a good father he would be.”
While wanting to support Emma and be the father she’s hoping he could be, David is still conflicted about doing right by her and his biological offspring, as well as his father and brothers. “He has a lot of love and affection for Emma,” says Vaughn. “He realizes that his life and the way he conducts himself maybe doesn’t come off as the most consistent partner, but he wants to work on that because he does want to be a part of his child’s life, and he wants to be a part of Emma’s life.”
Opening soon the Philippines on Dec. 4, “Delivery Man” is a DreamWorks Picture distributed by Walt Disney Studios International.

Hot Toys Thor: The Dark World Thor Preview
Hot Toys can't cash in too much on Thor but they've done the next best thing, preview two new figures at the same time.
The next highly anticipated Marvel Studios film this year – Thor: The Dark World is soon hitting the theatres. Following the events of The Avengers, Thor returns to the big screen and sets upon a journey to confront a new enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand.
To celebrate the launch of this epic sequel of Thor, Hot Toys is proud to present the new 1/6th scale Thor Collectible Figure. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the movie, featuring the newly developed head sculpt, muscular body, highly detailed costume, weapon and accessories.

Mind you this is the standard armor for the Thunder god, there's another 1/6 scale figure preview waiting in the wings!!!
Also this head sculpt is spot on with the likeness of Thor actor Chris Hemsworth. In fact, I daresay that it's actually better than what we've seen from The Avengers Thor figure.

Boston Legal Star James Spader Cast as ULTRON for AVENGERS 2
The villain for the second AVENGERS movie has been officially cast. Marvel announced today that Boston Legal and The Secretary star James Spader has been chosen to play the role of the mad robot Ultron for Joss Whedon's follow up to Marvel's The Avengers.
The actor starred in notable films like "The Secretary" opposite Maggie Gylenhaal, "Stargate" and he was also from Less than Zero.
Personally, I think this guy can pull it off. After all he's that guy from STARGATE and the same sleavy, conniving guy who spanked looked at Maggie Gylenhaal's bottom in The Secretary all wrapped in Adamantium exoskeleton goodness/ evilness.
Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters 2015.

Thor Brings Natalie Portman's Jane Foster to Asgard in New Stills for Thor 2
Two things that gets hardcore confirmation based on the new stills that appeared for Thor: The Dark World, which also got it's first poster a few days ago.
Number 1: Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) are fighting together. It doesn't mean that they're on good terms, but that reportedly they are doing this (the whole fighting Dark Elves together) because Malekith made it personal for both of them. Also it looks like Loki's in a dilemma on whether or not he wants forgiveness and redemption or looking for the perfect moment to slither away from Thor's gaze and return to Midgard.
More after the cut.

Robert Downey Jr. Suits up Anew in Iron Man 3
Two-time Academy Award-nominee Robert Downey Jr. returns as eccentric genius, billionaire, philanthropist Tony Stark aka the armored super hero known as Iron Man, in Marvel's new action adventure “Iron Man 3.”
Decompressing from his heroic, near-self-sacrificial action saved New York City from annihilation (in “Marvel's The Avengers”), Tony now finds himself unable to sleep and plagued by worry and trepidation. When his world is destroyed and those closest to him threatened, Tony must find a way to save them—and in the process find himself again.
“Even though the world knows and loves Tony Stark, he is still learning and struggling to define where Iron Man ends and his own life begins, which has made him increasingly dependent on his Iron Man armors,” explains executive producer Steven Broussard. “They have become such a big part of him that they’re affecting every aspect of his life, including those closest to him.”

Is this Chris Evans' New Costume for Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
Comicbookmovie shared a nice looking concept art which they claim is for Marvel Studios' Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The art features a new costume for Chris Evans' Captain America aka Steve Rogers and its gone through a lot of revamp.
So what do I think of it? It's way better than his costume in Marvel's The Avengers thats for sure. So lets see, there's elements of what Steve was wearing during his Super Soldier/ Heroic Age/ Commander Rogers phase. Plus there are remnants of the classic "Captain America: The First Avenger" costume fitted in several places like the boots and the knee pads. The site also stated that the costume has done away with the red and white stripes which made the costume dorky.
Over all, this costume really ties in neatly with the Marvel Studios Phase Two video we saw last week and the Captain America 2 concept art they also released last week. At the moment, it's still really just that, a concept art. But hopefully they push through with this because this looks good.
